I'm probably the only person who isn't happy that PS has taken over FT.

I played on PS under-age and have been perm banned. I read that players who have been banned on one site, are also going to be banned on the other due to PS responsible gaming. However, they have said that they will investigate individual cases separately and come to a conclusion on what will happen to the player.

Bah, although they're going to investigate certain cases, I still have very little chance of being able to play. I also had an under-age account on FT, lol. I've basically made an under-age account on every f**kin site there is, I didn't know this would come back and bite me so hard one day. FML.

Who think PS will allow me to play on FT after I tell them that I also played under-age on there?

If they said case by case then its possible. But, seeing as you already had an under age account on FT probably highly unlikely. Im sure their biggest agenda is to get back into the US market and they will want/need to keep a strong stance against underage gambling. Perma-banning from both sites seems a little too strong, but losing a small percentage of would be customers is nothing in the long run.

Brings up an interesting point, those who have been banned from PS for say multi-accounting, will they also be banned from FT?

I think you will be just because you created an underage account, but for those who haven;t been banned on one but banned on the other, it brings up interesting spots.

Dude, I am 100% sure you were banned for something else. Seeing as I too did the underaged thing, PS is aware and I play on PS after 18.

I got a stern email but no punishment.

Mine wasn't as straight forward. I played under my mothers name, I deactivated the account a few months back, so I could create my own account for when I turned 18 (Didn't want to multi-account) - (Don't really know what I was thinking).

Anyway, since I deactivated my 'mums' account, they didn't allow me to create my own account. In the end, I just confessed to them about how I played under-age and told them the reason for why I deactivated my 'mums' account.

I was so stupid.

If somebody has been banned from PS for multi-accounting, I'm pretty sure they'll be banned from FTP, even if they haven't had any problems with FTP in the past.

I've read that if somebody has deactivated their PS account, they wont be aloud to play on FTP either because of PS responsible gaming terms.

It'll interesting to see what happens, vise-versa, in those situations.

Just create a new account when you are old enough, and play stupid if they bring up your old underaged one, there are other people in the world with the same name as you so try this, but if your still underage don't obviously make another one and try to get away with it. play within there rules and you will have no issues.

You should of left the account up and made a new one, and let the one in your mums name fade away. Not playing on the Fake account and playing in the one in your name is not multi-accounting, now if you were to play on both accounts then it would be multi-accounting.
What happened, was all of the info was fake in the account on you, aka that's why a life ban. You have to use Your name, more so then the right birth date.
Maybe you should look at stars TOS again.

Wow, it's harsh but yeah - they would be smart to make an example of somebody to show how upright they are.

You definitely should have not canceled your mom's account and said that you were under age and was playing in your mom account, but you already did. Try to make a new account now that you are over 18 in some other computer, using your real name and a different email and adress of your old account.

or you could go away from FT and PS and try somewhere else. Cake... Carbon... there are many others that aren't affiliated.

pokerstars have many regulatory eyes on them. So they have to and should counteract under-aged gambling. Since I am sure they do not want to risk losing any of there licenses.

A life time ban do seem a little harsh for only being under-aged. But for impersonating/forgery on the other hand...
