I have several friends who I play poker with when we're all in town at the same time – which is rare. We'd like to be able to meet on some site online and play together in a private room – either a ring game or SNG. We play seriously, but we do not need to play for money, any more than we need to play for money when we play tennis, golf or chess. Some of us are couples and therefore share an IP address. All the sites I've tried disallow more than one player using the same IP to prevent collusion, (for example, replaypoker.com) which just isn't an issue in our situation. So – the question is – are there any site on which eight people in four locations with only four IP addresses play poker together in a private room on their eight laptops?
