Alderney suspends Full Tilt's operating license

Here's a list of stuff Full Tilt must cease and desist from:

* Register new customers;
* Accept deposits from existing customers;
* Allow existing customers to withdraw funds that are held in their accounts; and
* Permit customers to participate in any form of poker game play or gambling transaction."

Ugh. Looks like non-Americans get to feel the same pain.

This is bad thing with regards to people getting their money from FT seeing as a company having zero income for a sustained period is, uhh, generally bad.

Completely obvious, but worth saying.

I am in no way condoning the actions taken by the DoJ against online poker, but in reality, FullTilt did this to themselves. PokerStars isn't in the mess that FT is because they kept their funds separate, whereas Tilt obviously didn't. That seems to be one of the biggest reasons their license was pulled, because they aren't conducting business properly by paying out the millions of customers that they have in the US when they are obviously allowed to(Stars did it without a problem). Just like the quote in ScarFace, "Don't get high on your own supply".
