Do they owe you any money? If so you should be pursuing that.

If not then think of it like a real casino.. if they wont let you in they don't have to actually give you a reason.. its wrong I know.. but its up to them who plays and who doesn't.

Don't take it personally just open another account and fund it from a different source!!

i had another email this morning, but no reason as to why,

Dear Valued Player,
Thank you for writing back to us regarding the status of your account.
I'm sorry to inform you that we don't offer phone support at this time. Please understand that your account is still held for security reasons and we have terminated your account access permanently.
Unfortunately, we are unable to re-activate your account under any circumstances, though an email will be sent to you should there be any changes to this.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
CS Ann
Customer Support Representative

I've gotten this same email Warrior 3 times now too.

Merge Gaming has informed me that it is an issue I have to deal with, with Carbon Poker myself.

My Bank has tried to contact Carbon Poker for 2 days now without success and just recommended My Wife and I cancel the Cards.

Either way this turns out, I can't believe I have had to go through all the hassle. It's looking more and more like I'm out of luck and will lose my money. Luckily, I make a good living so it's no big deal, but knowing they can do this is brutal when I think about the average person and how losing $600 would affect them.

I'll see what the outcome is and decide on what action to take. I have a few contacts and a lot of time in front of a computer, so it might bite them in the ass down the road.

Good Luck with your's Warrior and any others going thru this BS too.

Could you give more details please? I have had many emails sent and a few now sent to me, but have made no ground.

How long did it take to resolve?
What was the situation for you? Were they claiming Fraud, Chargebacks or what?

If you had your situation fixed, I would appreciate any information you can provide to help me, and any others going thru this too.

This might be the first positive I've seen so far in this mess since it started last week.

I wouldn't count on hearing from this guy. New member posting several times in a few minutes probably = trying to up his posts for freeroll passwords. Doubt is he had time to read it no matter how good his English was. So I could be wrong but he's probably given you false hope.

I emailed Carbon a week ago about a glitch in their software that incorrectly made me the bringin in Razz. The response was "There is nothing wrong with our servers". Suffice it to say their customer service is not the calibre of poker stars.

Anyway, here's something I suggested to someone that had issues at another site (think it was UB), and they got a quicker reply and resolution. Let Carbon know you've posted this on a forum, we're all awaiting your reply, you've involved this online casino investigation company, bla bla bla. The threat of bad publicity coupled with your willingness to pursue the matter through whatever means necessary might serve to light a fire under their ass.

I do hope you and ttwarrior get it resolved.

New Update.

(Admin, if this comes across as slander, please edit or delete this post. I don't want to break any of their T & C until this is fully resolved. It's not meant to be slanderous)

Good News and Bad News.

The Good News:

I received a strange email from Carbon with the Subject Line, "You still have money in your Carbon Poker Account". I opened it and it was the typical, "We haven't seen you for awhile..." email, so I decided to see if I could log in and go figure, I could.

I click on "Cashier" to see if my money is in there and there is money in my account.

The Bad News:

My balance shows $362.44 which means they've taken $500 US funds from me. My original deposit plus winnings was at $800ish before all of this BS.

I emailed them to see where the rest of my money is and asked for an explanation as to why I am now suddenly allowed to access my account again. I instantly received one of their standard "Form" emails saying my concern has been forwarded to the appropriate department.
I then instantly did a withdrawl to potentially get as much as I can and cut my losses.

Here's the kicker...I was obviously in the right. They were wrong and put me thru a bunch of BS unnecessarily. I received no explanation, apology and may have lost a decent amount of money.

It's nice when a company makes an error and doesn't even feel the need to say "Sorry, we made a mistake and to make it up to you, we are going to give you....." Instead, they say nothing and take some of my money.

I plan on continuing on with chasing down the rest of my money, closing out the account and then will decide what to do.

Sorry to burden y'all with my problem, but thanks for listening none the less....

Well I am glad to hear you have got some of the money back, and would definitely pursue the matter further until you have all of the money back.

I made a $200.00 deposit on Carbon about 8-9 months ago. I am up a little over dbl. I play private league games there for the most part. Should I try and withdraw my money? I have wondered if any of the sites are or will be in trouble with money. Is anyone having problems getting money out if they don't otherwise have issues?

I'm glad to hear that things were sorted out in the end.

It seems unfair that a customer should have to go to these lengths to recover money that they deposited in good faith. However this seems typical of the society we live in.

wow

To the person with 1k that just dissappeared. That is unbelievable, i do not know if someone hacked your account or what, but money can not just dissappear. If i lost one grand, i would do a lot of complaining. I play at carbon and their support is fast, 1-2 days usually for a reply, minor complaints, they will get back to you within hours too. If you just contact the support, they will tell you the issue and try to get it resolved.
