Hi guys, this is actually my first thread ever on a poker forum, on any forum for that matter:) i've read and browsed a few before, but never took part. And the reason i started this one are, of course, the Titan Poker 5.50$ 9 man sngs.

I have played some casual poker for a few years now, started by destroying a few (3-4) 50$ bankrolls on party poker mainly playing the steps tournaments there (don't know if they still have them now) and low entry sngos.

Some time after i switched to full tilt and manged to cash in a few MTT - got 9th place at a really big one - which got me a huuuge bankroll boost and i also really enjoyed the poker academy challenges on full tilt - too bad it went bust along with my bankroll:(

Recently i decided to take things a little more seriously and play by the book. I deposited 220$ on titan and started playing the 1 table 5.50 sngos (tallin). My idea was to play the sngos to build a bankroll in order to be able to pay for entries in different MTT until I win a big one and then challenge Phil Ivey to a HU for all the money:p

As you can see i have mostly tried to specialize on sngos as they seemed a better option for building a bankroll, but i am now seriosly thinking of switching to cash games or multi table sngos 30 - 90 people. After a few weeks and a few hundred games (almost 500) my bankroll is down to 140$ (got to 28$ once but somehow got a 60$ win in a 30 man and made it back up -somewhat).

I only multitabe max 3 tables (usually 2) because i am trying to focus on the games' but i think that the competition is pretty though for these tournaments and there are quite a few regulars. I keep seeing the same people at the tables and it seems that after the middle stages of the game with 5_6 players left it's all down to luck . Even if i am trying to consider position an opponents, most times the blinds are so big that i have to push all in with the first decent hand in order to steal blinds as a raise would leave me pot comitted anyway.

This type of game does not seem like a sustainable bankroll builder i have never even passed the 300$ mark, - with a 220 deposit!!

Surely i am not one of the best players but i considered myself fairly decent. after reading that the titan poker sngos are some of the softest online i start wondering maybe i am really that terrible?

I would hugely appreciate the opinions of more experienced players on the 9 man 1 table titan poker 5.50$ sngos. Am i just very weak or is the cometition really tougher than they say? Also any other piece of advice you might have on building up my bankroll will be more than welcome.

Many thanks!

Damn , this was a lot
longer and took a lot more time than i expected for my first post. Hope it doesn't bore you too much and i get some answer:)
