Yes, and everyone thinking about playing it should register as soon as possible. Registration started 5 minutes ago and there about 1500 people already registered. The problem is it's capped at 7000 players.

Thanks for the heads up. I just registered now and there are over 5250 already registered. I never looked at the registration time, I just assumed it was 2 hours before it started like the $500 games.

On the plus side, even a min cash is $25.

the tournament is now full and i managed to get in. weird move by 888 to offer late reg and then limit the field like this. i remember in the past, these tournaments had a higher cap and i guess there will be some not so happy players who will miss out on this.

I don't understand either. I think it's usually 18000 players max.

And on top of that, as orsino mentioned, these tournaments tend to open for registration 2 hours beofre they start.

BTW, doing pretty bad, down to 1583 chips at the break.

Always register early in those. And always check maximum players in the lobby.
