888 update Feb 19

Am I the only one to think that the 888 update is strange? It appears to show that everyone is sitting out at the start of every hand, and some are, but not all.

Yeah initial thoughts are that i dont like the changes, but hopefully it is just a case of getting used to it

At first sight, the new layout is quite odd and strange for me. But maybe soon I will get used to it.
Funny fact: I used to use a lot of dark-blue labels when taking notes in cash games, now I have to exchange all of them for another color, because I almost can't see the blue one in the new layout.

Feels like it runs smoother.
I prefer a minimalist look for my poker tables with good contrast between backs of cards (so at a glance I can see who has not folded) and so that bets/chips will show up better. (typically use a charcoal grey table and med.-gray background, bright red card backs, 4-color deck)

My complaint with the new 888 update, you can't adjust the table color (only the background). And if you choose to use the 'SNAP' theme, you can't change anything with the appearance and the card backs blend in with the background instead of contrasting with it (really, REALLY bad design... makes you wonder if the person who designed even plays online poker & if they do, if they ever play more than 1 table on 1 site at a time).

So far.. ZERO crashes for me! (which is a MASSIVE improvement)

The update is terrible. Everything was much better before him. Now we'll just have to get used to this crazy new design.

I think it is awful ! Tournaments no longer show /your position/players remaining/players to the money/ so I have to open a lobby window as well, which takes up too much screen space.

No more giving people the option to turn off avatars on the desktop version, lol. That cant be real. And its not even possible to upload ur own avatar 🥰

the update was released only on the computer version, the mobile version of the room has remained unchanged so far.

I agree! It is a lot lighter (at least it is according to my Task Manager readings).
Also, so far I have had ZERO crashes (previously it was happening every 30 - 60mins., making it almost unplayable for me)

I liked the new design, I was pleasantly surprised by the table design update, the only thing that confused many players was that the networks were not shown, but they were online, I hope this bug will be fixed

Perhaps you need to get used to any update, you will have to get used to the latest update of 888poker, it is unlikely that the old design will be returned.

I like the new table layout and icons, so I can now use the green post instead of the blue one, because it is not as disturbingly bright as in the previous version.

Hi could someone post some screenshots here, because I did not get an update yesterday.
Perhaps a lobby, tournament, and cash game table.
This would help all other players to see the changes.

I think I rather like it apart from two points:

1) bet slider is now small, and it's painted in the same dim color, not very convenient to try and aim at the tiny buttons every time, especially while multitabling

2) as far as I understand you can't hide avatars anymore? Or did I miss this option somewhere?

Additional 3) maybe not a fan of the hole cards display, I prefer them to look straight, not tilted, since I have a layout installed.

The update is quite serious. It's unusual to play and I see some flaws. I hope that these shortcomings will be corrected in the near future. 888 is my favorite site, and I would like the software to work reliably and without crashes. Time will show

I thought the update was beautiful, it seems like a more welcoming, modern, clean and beautiful environment. The only point I would like to make is that I found the betting buttons to be small.
