888 - An unreliable desktop client?

Hey all,

Been struggleing with this client months and months now.

I had been playing 6 sites poker, and 5 of them are so smooth. If there's any update, when I'm opening their client it's doing it automatic, and after it's done I'm free to go.

However with 888Poker the situation is totally different. When I downloaded their client, I did every single step the same, however it was working about the 5-6th try. I even thought my computer is not compatible with it or my country has regulation - but none of them were the case. And believe it or not, from time to time when I'm trying to log-in I get an: "Opps, something went wrong, please try again later" message.
I saw the lobby, everything, but can't reach my account's page, and can't login. This is going on for 3 days now this time.

Now the miraculus advice from 888 each & everytime is to try and download their software again. But may I ask how many times should I do? I think I'm around 20 times until now. And yeah, it can solve the problem (not always the 1st attempt), but always ust temporary.

So my questions are: Did you experience the exact same issue, if yes, how accurate?
Why they are blaming their users, isn't their fault? If yes, how they can operate on the poker market with a broken software?

You're right, it's a broken room, they urgently need to make improvements to everything, including the gameplay part, which in my opinion is crap.

These days ago I had a problem with my password, I couldn't log in at all, it always gave an error, and I always used the same password and never had a problem.

After several attempts, I had to create a new password to get it working again, but in the meantime I ended up missing Saturday's $300 CC freeroll.

Occasionally when this happened I believe I had been clicking too quickly. Leaving several seconds between clicks seemed to work.

It's a great site, but somehow wish to these problems would be better listened by them.

@Macaroon It actually worked. I did not recall if I was clicking fast or not, but 1 week passed and finally I was able to login without delete parts of the whole program. Cheers!

I'm having problems with 888poker too, but it's not the same. I can login, but the software and the games are very slow and like each 2 days I have to make a new download on their site, which usually works the problem.

It happens to me, but not very often. They occasionally have problems with servers, but such problems can also be due to the Internet provider. Try logging into your poker client with a different ISP and see if the problem persists.

I don't remember last time I had a problem with 888 software, you can try use their App.
