Woke up to see my account suspended, and an email saying so. I wish they had given people the heads up a week ago. They also could've given an explanation as to why. Any thoughts on this?

Hopefully they allow you to withdraw your funds? As for why they left, its most likely just a business decision. Philippines is a small market, and apparently they did not find it profitable for them to remain active there.

More and more countries are introducing restrictions on gambling laws. Sometimes this is done thoughtlessly and senselessly and does not achieve the goals for which it is done. This makes the poker rooms leave these countries. This is clearly a violation of the rights and freedoms of people and it can kill online poker.

Good afternoon.Sorry for the poker players from Philippines.I hope they can,at least, keep playing both on Stars and Party party poker. It is a pity because 888is a very good poker room(the one I like the most),Poker players should play wherever they want.Unfortunately, this is bad news for online poker.
