888 New Promotion Snowmen Festival

Hi, can anyone explain new promotion in details? I know only when it ends for sure: on December 31. But when it starts? And what is the way to earn their new tournament tickets? It's unclear to me.

I saw @VictorOd message and decided to help out or clear a few thing up for some off you.

The Snowmen Festival promotion started 01/10/23 and runs until 31/12/23.

I know it's confusing i have been in contact with 888 support and been confirmed i was abit puzzled myself.

The issue is that due to technical issues challanges and tournaments are not showing yet but its 100% started.

They will no doubt be sorted by the end of the week for the first freeroll im sure because I've already completed a chanllage and got a ticket it just says no tournament avalible yet.

I got this from placing a $10 sports bet




Also here is other information that is relevant to us players.




So from that information there is only gunna be this one $8,888 freeroll on the weekend to qualify for.

It's multi flight so i imagine when they show up Mon/Sat there will be day 1s to qualify for Sun $8,888 free day 2.

You can complete the above challanges daily to get your day 1 ticket one per day but you only get a Max of 3 x day 1 tickets per week to try qualify for the day 2.

No info about any other freerolls added to the daily or monthly just this event every weekend for 3 months.

Promotion to get buy in back as a free if you bubble inbetween the dates specified in the image up $33 buy in max

I imagine they will be more like this during the promotion due to this one being for a short period.


I imagine there will be freerolls for live events announced and during the promotion and probably on there social media and twitch.

That is all the info i could find so far.

Once a the daily tournaments turn up for the ticket i have i will let you know and if anything else shows up in regards to the promotion ill let you know also.

Challenges not showing/working for everyone by start of promo? Well that is a known and old issue.

Just a update for you day 1 tournaments are now showing in the lobby and the first one runs tommorow Gl

Challanges still dont show but you can find what the tasks are in the promo tab.

I got my 2nd day 1 ticket from winning a had with 88 post flop at 1c/2c

I don't know if it's just me, but 888poker promotions is getting worse each time. They used to offer better tournaments and now it's only $8.888 weekly and it's a 2-day event. But I guess it's better than nothing

Just another quick update looks like there isn't gunna be day 1s running for this events day 2 each day from Mon/Sat

It may only have day 1s running 3 times a week the same amount of tickets you can equire in 1 week.

Managed to finish 234th place in this evenings snowmen day 2 for $10.64

Still abit disappointed lost Ak v A7 for just under 40k

Just a little update didnt manage to make day 2 last week.

But just managed to bag 14.2k for day 2 this weekend.

With there being more entries in day 1s now day 2 starts ITM but for alot less $ then the previous min cash.

Won a hand with 88 but not get any free ticket. It went post flop, but everyone folded to my river bet, does it need to reach showdown? I thought just going post flop was enough

That sucks, I was going for very thin value too, so it probably wasnt worth betting!

The hand only has to go post flop doesn't have to go all the way to showdown.

And its win a hand with just a pair of 8s post flop.

The hand cannot be improved you had a full house thats why you didn't get the ticket.

Even just a pair on the board stops you from winning with just 88

I find it easier to play PLO to complete these challanges with more Chance of getting 88 more often.

Plus look for not full tables with min buy in player's.

If I have 88 in my 4 hold cards I'll raise pre flop if my 88 doesn't improve and i dont hit any over pair to the 88 and no pair on the board ill raise post flop and get folds to bag a ticket.

If they call post flop bet just shut down and wait for next chance.

Managed to finish 190th in day 2 yesterday for $6.22

Hi all

Managed to qualify for day 2 from the day 1 sat today with just over 17k it been a while lol

Then i managed to finish 144th in the day 2 for $10.66

was basically forced in with Q9 in the bb with just under 2 bbs left in a 4 was pot i managed to hit a 9 and was ahead until the river 10 to get back to 70k and laddered more,

Ill keep you posted of any other developments.
