I think everyone was complaining only because of the big amount of money they wanted first to get at least a milly but 650k is close enough for a 565$ buy in

Awesome structure. The draw had a certain demo of players in-mind, and the way they built the tournament had just as much appeal as the buy-in. like everybody else tweets: Great for poker!

650k payout for 1st seems a little low with the payout pool available but paying out 3k plus places seems a little excessive.

What are you talking about? Are you suggesting over 3,000 players were paid out in that event? (there was 2,241 player paid... = 10% it is totally standard/normal)

It seems like the payout structure should be set before a tourney start. Something like a percentage across the board per entries and it should be published to ensure fairness for all players. I dont know if wsop does this but if not-------well think about it for a while lmao!

I like the flat pay , just because the variance would be smaller.
for pro , it is fine, they may play enough games, but for recreational players
flat pay is much better , at least get something.
