I keep looking at this and wishing there was some possible way I could change my mind, even priced flights and hotels but all that did was tell me I really couldn't afford to do it , hopefully its a success and the opportunity is available next year and that I could make it then .

I'll pull a LOCK, stop paying the people I owe so I can save my money and go play poker.....I like how you thinking JQ haha.

That aside, I hope a year from now I would be in a much better situation to possibly make such a trip as not only would it be awesome to play in the game but also to meet a bunch of my fellow cc members , besides I'll deff be in some need for a bit of live poker a year from now....online is great but live is da nuts....the feel of the cards and the chips, the joy of raking in a pot mmmmmmmm das like softcore porn right there LMAO

I've made arrangements to stay at a friend's 'empty' condo. in Cali (~4hrs. away), have a friend who'd drive down & hang out with me.... but real hard for me to committ as I've got a crapload of stuff going on at home

Good luck with getting your w-d from Lock, poker orifice. For those thinking about flying in, if you make reservations a month or more in advance, you would be pleasantly surprised at how much you can save. When i flew from Lexington Kentucky, to Miami Florida, walk in ticket at that time was $505.00, two weeks advance reservation ticket was $242.00, less than half price of a walk in ticket. The times i was in Vegas, wearing shorts and a t-shirt is fine out side, but the casinos had ice cold air conditioning, so i would advise anyone playing inside to wear warm clothes, i about froze out in them. Could be because i'm old though lol. Good luck to the members that goes and participates!

I am playing a live tour in April 13nd-18th in Marbella if I might be lucky and the pokergods want it. This could be a nice thing to do with the money if I win something there.
