Just a heads up for those interested.

A super high roller series has kicked off in Cyprus at The Merit Hotel and Casino. It runs through until the 31st Aug. The likes of Phil Ivey, Steven Chidwick, Eric Seidel etc. are playing.

It appears two ways to watch.

The Merit itself is providing full live streams ( you'll have to keep an eye on the site to check times) through a You Tube channel...

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAKE93b42HQmt8-ousFz5lQ/videos

Then GG Poker is showing an edited final table summary, also on You Tube.

Good to see Ivey back in action....I won't say anything more for those who want to catch up with the first tourney!

First two tourneys pretty cool. The 25K short deck and the 25K NL Hold’Em.

Little hard to follow the streams and it seems like GG is a little slow with their final table edit (the first short deck final table edit is hard to find on GG’s site)

But great content when you can tap in and excellent to see Ivey win the first title- it can’t be a spoiler at this point as people have had time to check the link. He looked fit and very relaxed - played some all-ins a little loosely but it all paid off

Yeah, I am looking forward to the super super high rollers!

I saw one of the games of the Super High Roller Bowl series at the Merit Casino in Cyprus. Tony G is also involved there. He showed that he is in good shape and received the main prize of $ 382,500.

And he just followed up with a second win, both in short deck. The second win came yesterday when he won the $100,000 Short Deck High Roller and he pocketed $ 1,196,000 for that.

Quite a week so far.

Strong roster, I’ve always loved Ivey’s style of play, I might look into it.

Thanks for the news, DS3. :five:

My pleasure ADRI7HO!

The streams have been hard to follow timing wise as Cyprus is the in the eastern Mediterranean ...so I hope PokerGo supplies an edit of the final tables. The $250,000 main event should be underway....

Okay for those interested they just stopped the stream of the $250,000 High Roller after bursting the bubble. Ali Imsirovic bubble boy - ouch. 6 left and $3.7 million for first place.

I presume the final table will recommence around 18 hours from now...so check the time stamp here and then tune in.

So Viktor Malinowski beat Ivan Leow to win the $250,000 high roller and the $3.7 million prize.

Final table very quick...6 down to 2 in short order but then the heads up took 5 hours with the lead changing hands along the way.

Very cool

Yes, Malinowski is well done. I saw a game of high rollers. Everything was decided by the hand when Leow went all in with A4 against AK Malinowski.
