The wsop will donate up to $30,000.00 toward the Disabled American Veterans if 72 people participate in a 'Pokerthon' that will take place on the WSOP free online App this weekend. Beginning today (April 19 - appropriately named National Poker Day :)) all that is needed is to sign up and join the game. So, is anything stopping you from joining?! :)
“During the 72 hours, WSOP players will be able to give back to veterans and all they need to do is join the app and play."

It was only a matter of time before the NBA would permanently ban a player for gambling. Jontay Porter, 24, played 26 games for the Toronto Raptors, “bet on games, passed on information to gamblers, and claimed illness to influence a wager.”

If you are a hockey fan, there is a good chance you may have heard the announcement of the Phoenix Coyotes move to Utah which has disappointed their fans. Unfortunately, over the years, the franchise had been mismanaged and was forced to make the change.
