What's a week in poker without just a little drama, right?! This past week there was a contest for a WPT Championship giveaway, offered by poker player and women’s chess master Qiyu “Nemo” Zhou, which came under great scrutiny when the winner just happened to be her coach and friend. When she picked Alex "Thallo" Epstein naturally people immediately noticed and cried foul. In other news, the schedule for the EPT 2023 starting in Paris is out, High Stakes Poker returns for it's 10th season, and much more in CardsChat's Short Stacks this week.

I mean, WPT trusted a bunch of "influencers" with their brand, it seems inevitable one of them is going to take advantage of them.
