I am happy for this end , mutually benefitial , suffering comes to an end . By the way , 10 days , only 1/3 of what was agreed remained for the prop bet to be successfull for Rich , but he couldn't go on , although he needed the initial agreed amount of 100.000$. This shows how much inhuman were the conditions that he was forced to live in , to achieve this target/bet .

Rich made money and was the one in isolation - Young bought him out after realizing Rich was still in good spirits and was probably going to make the full 30 days. Rich got 2/3 of the money for 2/3 of the time, more or less, and probably kept a friendship.
