If enough big name players take aim they have a chance of getting somewhere. I don't really care about rewards myself, but obviously high earning and really low earning players alike have a keen interest in them.

Being in the US, I don't see what is so great about pokerstars. I have played on their play money site which has the same UI / features as the real money site.

So why is everyone still playing on there when you have party poker and Americans (I guess Americans are super soft) on WPN to play against.

I like pokerstars school but Im not depositing money there. If I deposited or won a lot I would be wanting my rewards or some kind of rake back competitive with other sites. Their software and overall appearence and functionality is ahead of any other site I play on. The competition is harder too though, so I perfer depositing some where with a little softer games.

I have seen weekend numbers as high as over 120k, but any day during the week, there are as many as 30k+ and some days as little as 15k.

I've been casually looking at the number players whenever I log into the PS, I didn't notice significant drop in the number. At this moment it is around 29,000. Do you perhaps have that sort of info for some other sites as well? If you do, could you please share? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I had a bankroll of around 300$ filled Gold gift, everything would be fine, but then when leaked 300$, now get 2 300 points is simply unrealistic )

What stars are you talking about? And yes, playing for real money, in tournaments and at regular tables - you are a member of Stars Rewards

They announced they are changing the rewards system to be more beneficial and easier for us but they have been known to hype changes good or bad.

I think Red chests are supposed to go away. I have earned 4 and I am purposely not opening them to see how true what they have said in the past is.

They say that chests contents are not awarded until the time you open them. If that is true as they say then the 4 should be replaced with something else when the change is implemented.

I will believe it when I see it.

I find it amazing people are so loyal to poker stars.
Why don't American players migrate to ACR. They can play for money there, but continue to cling to the hope that one day legislation will enable them to play at Stars.
Within ACR the players from the USA and the rest of the world could set up great Cardschat cash game competitions.

i know there are a lot of negative comments about Pokerstars, i have accounts at PStars, ACR, BOL, PartyPoker, 888 and still find Pokerstars the very best of them all...
best software, most options of games to play at when i want
their customer support answers me almost immediate
i am not professional and i play for fun so rakeback things have little relevance to me, i do find the free spins- get good tickets and things and the chests great
with friends and twitch streamers i like going to PartyPoker, i tried but i no sure i alone in this i find their software primitive compared to PStars? what drives me nuts is when they move you tables, the whole table/site vanishes like if you lost connection

Loyalty is earned from years and years of good service. Only now other rooms are catching up in quality.

Stars still has the biggest player pools and as such the biggest prizes. The main draw to poker for most is money. If you had the choice would you play a $11 game with $60K guarantee or one with $10K guarantee

ACR software still has too many bugs on it.

I don't play poker for money, I enjoy the test of skill.
I do turn over thousands of dollars on sports and horse race betting. Winning money is I major objective there.
American players can't play for money on Stars so $11 buy-ins to win play in $60,000 tournaments is meaningless to them.
However they can participate for money on ACR.
The bugs on ACR tend to bug me less theses days
