Yeah, how nice would it be to play a tournament with a stack THAT deep? I'm certain to be a dog against many of those who are playing, but there will be some spots in that game where you may have a slight edge. There surely will be some high stakes whales that will be playing that game just for the sheer challenge of going up against guys like Daniel, Ike, Jason Mercier, Viktor Blom, Ivey (probably), Scott Seiver (if he ever did re-locate, not sure if he did), maybe even Jason Somerville would play that too.

Outof the top of my head I can give you about 20 players who will be there and maybe more.
This is not just well known pros (by name) who will play...
I'm pretty sure there will be at least 50 players....

Outof the top of my head I can give you about 20 players who will NOT be there and maybe more.

:D :D :D

Far too excited to play the WCOOP. Moving from America to Belgium starting early October and one of the first things i will do is make myself a PS account and start playing.

I imagine the field will be pretty small. Can't think of many being able to afford that

It´s hard to trust all that money in my connection. I lost that many times, while playing. I would be very mad!

It amazes me that any site, even Stars, has 20 players that can afford a game like that.

I say 20 because historically, Stars always under guarantees its tourneys. Seldom is there any overlay. So Stars expects there will be more than 20 players...

Well, lot of the Stars sponsored pros have already registered. And I would imagine quite a few other pros will be taking part as well.

So, when is freeroll satellite planned for cardschat?

Anyway, such tournament is very risky to be held online. I would really be afraid about IT security.

You can have extra-extra safe computer, and then someone will shutdown the power near your house in the middle of big pot and what?
I know, you must have backup connection and backup power for such tournament. Still there are extra risks.

Probably there will be lots of late reg due to the super deep structure. So maybe however many players start the tournamnet, you can double that number.

Is there re-entry in this event?

Also, doesn't $20k seem small for the minimum that has to be left after a deal? Usually it's proportional to the prize pool? I'd figure the amount that has to be left should be at least bigger that half the initial but-in

You wonder how big a field this will attract. Hopefully Jason Summerville decides to jump in so we can sweat along with him on his twitch
