Create a leader board for all freerools in which the platinum and silver tournaments would give more points, but all free would score.
The firts 100 on the leader board play for the 1000 in the last sunday of the mounth..
Winner will very likely be active here, the board could create more interaction and acess to the site, if standings were fixed here, I think that all freerools should score cause that way everyone has a chance, but long timers can have more points for more and exclusive frees... BTW all positions should score some point, that way many more players would go for the frees just for those points, keeping thinks active..

A great promo and some interesting ideas coming, which shows the imagination and inventiveness of the CardsChat Community.


There are already a whole host of variants of games available to members whether Freeroll or otherwise and so rather than tinkering with those, I have considered a stand alone opportunity.

I have the suggestion of creating the CardsChat Champion of Champions Competition Cup. (I love a bit of alliteration)

So, it would look like this.

With $1000 available each month, that gives $12000 per year to manage.

The competition would be open to ALL CardsChat members (the idea behind this is that as it opens it to everyone it will inevitably increase the membership of CardsChat which has to be a good thing.... and provides all members and new members with the opportunity to make the levels required for other competitions).

The tournament would be hosted on Pokerstars Home Games so that everyone can participate. Access to the game will be by request through a dedicated CardsChat Special Event Forum Page - this allows for at least some monitoring by CardsChat moderators and removes any password security issues.

Each month, (for ten consecutive months) there would be ONE tournament of NLHE. The usual pokerstars payout structure would apply and the prize pool would be $600. The structure would be a routine NLHE with 10 minute blinds and 5k starting chips. (Yes, it’s not a quick hit and run, it is about finding the Champion of Champions)

The 9 players who reach the FINAL TABLE in each of the ten monthly tournaments enter a (max 90 players) tournament in month 11. The same structure and payout applies. The prize pool will be $1500.

The 9 players who reach the FINAL TABLE of game 11, will go to the CardsChat Champion of Champions Competition Cup Final game, with a prize pool of $4500 distributed to each of the players according to their final position, with at least 50% going to the winner. The structure will be the same as all the way through. There will be no opportunity at any stage to make deals. It has to be fought out to the end.

This may look like a huge prize pool for a Freeroll, but the players who win will have been successful throughout the year and will have had to work hard for their money.

Additionally, this would provide excellent marketing and promotional resource for CardsChat through the prestige nature of the promotion and the payouts available. It somewhat links to the recent question of how can CardsChat seal the deal to become the worlds number 1 poker forum/community. I think this would be a great nudge in the right direction.

I would probably do following things:
Get rid of both 2 all member games.
Bring back that 3.30$ buy-in game.
Create couple bounty tournaments.
Invent some satellite events aswell.
Cut 10 min blind levels (atleast) by half so we could have normal blind levels (3-5 minutes)
Move starting times 1-3h earlier (compared to what they are now).

Therefore, create a freeroll for all registered members.

Those who manage to qualify, among the top 20%, will win tickets to the prize contest, the next day.
