poker sites require a large number of regular depositing players to make regular legal profits. In the past, greed has dictated where honesty was ignored. Super users, sites closing and stealing all deposits, collusion gangs and robots have been common. It involved the top levels of management, poker pro's and players. None of that has changed.

Today, rumors and suspicions persist. It involves humans and money. Unlicensed and unregulated sites in 3rd. world venues. Customers have zero options when ignored or told no. The current environment is not conducive to 100% honesty.


Look at how many of your top professional millionaire players even today are caught and prosecuted in legal environments. Many lawsuits persist for cheating and not paying.


Like life, FAIR is not guaranteed. Only hoped for. Best you can do is pick your game, pull up a seat, bet your hand and take your chances.

It can seem like they're manipulating things.

When you're running really bad especially with "good cards", you begin to wonder what's going on. But when I began to think about it, I've run bad at the casino too. I think I had a dream/daydream last night and there is some graffiti near where I live that says "MUCKROBOT", and was thinking this could be the name of a bot. It also says "Total Abuse" next to it. Everyone has a weakness.

I'd say yes without a doubt. I know of a few scandals where employees were able to hack the program and see opponents cards. Who knows what other scams are being played since there is little to no regulation on these sites.
