But why would he play with 30BI? It's clearly not his whole roll because pro players use good BRM. If he only had 30BI he'd drop down to a level he has 200-300BI.

Did you actually listen to what he said in the video? He is not broke in real life. Yes he can get more money onto stars. He busted all of the money that he had on stars. Is that his whole poker bankroll? I don't know. Obviously someone would stake him so in that sense no.

I'm just going off of what he said on the video and he said he lost all of the money that he had on stars. Also, if you read things that he has written in the past (especially his well on 2+2) he freely admits to playing underrolled.

Finally, if you check either highstakes database or PTR he hasn't played since the blog.

I have lots of respect for Phil and he's definitely one of my favorite players. He has a deep understanding of multiple games and as posted above his well on 2+2 is one of the better threads there.

Multi millionaire I doubt losing one bankroll meant much to him.
We lose a small amount it is a big deal to us. That is the difference.

Down $700K to pokerstars and no more slide in house. Pretty safe to call it a write off.

Thanks for sharing this, I know Phil's talked about almost quitting early in his career when he was facing a downswing. Good to see his longevity in the game.

One of the best online cash players of all time. +$8,099,612 (FTP & Stars)
And some decent tournament results for a guy who doesn't play in too many of them.

Post from 2012, I wasn't even born then 🧐 ... I wonder how deep you had to dig for this thread to find it, you had to scroll through at least 400-500 pages (there are so many, I don't know :)) ...

I assume this was probably revealed by using the search function for some keywords.

But I have no idea which ones.

Will watch this later. Really like Phils attitude and he's obviously a very talented player. More proof that PokerStars is rigged imo. :)p)
There is no proof at all...🙄
