I really don`t think that the play of Vanessa is something excellent. She just have luck in the right time at the right place. I have watched the Super high roller final table and none of her plays did not impress me. Look, the play of Quoss then was brilliant and he really deserves the prize.

She got like $32 k odd for her finish in the 2014 PCA. Top prize of $1.82 million if she had beaten 41 other players, thats how important the final parts of a big tournament are. Life changing money for a stronger finish.
To her credit shes won $9 million according to wikipedia so she knows the chances shes taking i guess.

Im sure you can play like her, learn the game and add a bit of live play into your schedule using strict BRM (Vanessa mostly plays live tournies like most poker millionaires) at some stage and in the initial parts it may help to have a job to fund your goals. Once you make like a million you can consider quiting a job (or still keep it ;-) )

i haven't been watching any of this & just tuned in now.
Noticed yesterday the names of players on the final table & saw that there's a guy who used to be a reg. on FTP on final table (SDot_111). He started the day as the shortstack but now is still there with ~40bb's.

He made many mistakes after that. Obvious he could not stand the tension. Panka really deserves the title more than McDonald.

Atlantis is such a beautiful place, it is hard to watch it if I am not there...Course, they were showing the inside these days, when they first played the Final Tables in this ME, it was just outside of the Casino facing the Ocean.
