I definitely feel bad for the Supernova Elite players who are most likely getting the shaft on this one, but they are millionaires so hopefully it doesn't hurt as bad.

Question I have is will poker stars get away with it legally. You would have to think they consulted their lawyers before making a move like this.

I don't mind their changes and understand why they are making them - but anyone who worked for those statuses in 2015 with the expectation of receiving specific awards should get them. They can roll out these changes with those players grandfathered in to their original deals and that is what they should do.

I agree 100% with you. They should have grandfathered those players in to this year, not doing it, was such a douchebag move and a slap in the face to those players that worked hard for their status.

Legally their bases are covered. Nothing the players can do from a legal perspective. This was no different than airmiles deciding to change their plan mid year.

That is my only issue with the changes. They have the right to change anything they want but they NEED to honor the promises made to their players that earned their VIP status.

That and the increase of rake at micro stakes....it is hard for a playa out there.

On a related note, Ike, Dani Stern, Negreanu and Dvoress all had a meeting with Amaya today in Montreal.

Looking forward to see what comes from it.
