French casinos enforce wearing masks or risk fines

Effective August 1, 2020, visitors to French casinos will have to wear masks by law, and those that don’t comply will face a fine of up to €250/$280. French President Emanuel Macron made the announcement Tuesday as COVID-19 started to show signs of a resurgence in parts of France.

Should all casinos follow the lead of the French? (at least for now)

In all seriousness now, I would definitely return to live tables once the proper safety protocols have been established. I believe I'm not the only one who's missing live poker and would jump at the chance to return to the casinos as soon as we get the chance. Every casino should be doing this not only to ensure a healthy playing environment, but also as a gesture of goodwill towards their regular players.

I use a Darth Vader helmet. It's pretty awesome.

I think all casinos should follow French example. The masks reduce the spread of the virus and its not that uncomfortably to wear. Here in my country, it's mandatory to wear masks everytime you go to a public space.

In the czech casinos there are no more masks rquired since July 1st. I saw only some some guys who used the mask for poker face when it was their turn to act...
