James Woods stopped talking to Doug Polk and beat the world heads-up player. Find out to what extent the dialogue affects your mental capacity and your income.
Do you remember when James Woods defeated Doug Polk?
This happened at the 46th edition of the world series of poker (wsop) and was one of the great highlights of the season. The two players met in the second round of the $ 3,000 No_Limit Hold'em (NLHE) Shootout. Each one came in heads up with 60 big blinds and they were in comfortable stacks.
Doug Polk is one of the toughest heads-up players. James Woods has a school with his name on the Family Guy.
Although they fought against each other in a very intense duel, the confrontation began in a very friendly way.
They played tight and they were friends. And then without anyone predicting, Woods created a chasm between them when he said he would stop talking.
"It was cool weather, but he was playing his way," Polk said.
The courage to keep silent

It was the smarter action he took throughout the game and that led him to victory. This would not have happened if he had not had the guts to tell Polk to shut up.
It takes courage to tell someone to shut up. The person may end up giving up doing so and being disturbed by the situation.
If the person does not speak the right way, it may seem a bit shocking, even rude. So it is not normal for a poker player, especially an amateur, to tell another player that he will stop talking and focus.
