Andrew Yang became a fan favourite in the poker community last year when he announced his support for online poker. Pros such as Daniel Negreanu joined the Yang Gang. Yang simply didn’t gain enough traction within the Democratic party to have much of a chance.

While I liked his stance on poker, the rest of his platform was unsupportable. People cannot just focus on one small fraction of a candidates platform and blindly support him or her for that. You have to look at the entire platform and evaluate whether you can support the whole agenda.

The real key is to get legitimate candidates to pick up on this part of Yang's platform...and that's on both (all) sides and at different levels of government.
