I try to play twice a day, to cover the 24 hrs. It costs almost nothing and no time either. I just play one when I wake up, and one when I'm back from my job.
I have won already 34$ and never got anything better than 3 of a kind (25 starcoins).
I do wait until the jackpot is a decent size (somewhere between 50k and 100k, but usually closer to 100k).
