Dario Sammartino leads the 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event with 9 players. The WSOP Main Event runner-up (in Vegas) just missed out on his first bracelet this past summer.

Currently, Dario is sitting in 2nd and David Baker has hit the rail.

I plan to watch this final table. Dario can win if he doesn't play too adventurously in my opinion. Restraint is his trump card.

Dario Sammartino has been consistently playing at the highest level for years.

I have no idea why he is underrated as to his credit, unlike many on the 'high roller' circuit, he frequently plays the main events also. Dario, and a few other such as David Peters take on the 'whole field' when their schedule allows and it is surely a sign of their passion for poker.

The problem for Sammartino (and all the other left at the FT) is at this stage of a tourney, its a coin flip.

Still to make two WSOP FT's back to back is outstanding.

They are now down to the final six with Dario among them! Anthony Zinno is giving everyone a run for their money now, going into tomorrow with the chip lead.

Yes, Shells I would be happy with Zinno taking the title also as he is another super hard working player across various stakes!

Man he is absolutely crushing lately, always nice to have a big time heater in big field events.

Pretty stacked FT if he were to win too !

Dario Sammartino took the 4th place and won €341,702. He relied on high cards or a ready hand to bet everything. AK let him down.
