Colossal MSPT Venetian Draws More Than 4,400 Entries to Non-WSOP Event

As players packed the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in search of a big prize and a WSOP bracelet, those with an eye on some alternative value headed to the Venetian for the Las Vegas leg of the MSPT.

A very good turnout with a very good prize pool!

That is crazy! Had no idea that many players would enter that event.

I don't think it said what the buyin was for that tournament? Must have been fairly reasonable cuz it did draw in a lot of people.......wow

The first part of the article states it was $1100 buyin, if I am reading it right.
