It has been announced through Pamela Brunson's social media that Louise Brunson, wife of the late Doyle Brunson, passed away this past week. Also, Don Laughlin passed away at the age of 92. He was responsible for the casino town of Laughlin, Nevada. The man referred to as 'Mattress Mack' known for his very high-stakes betting, lost about $7.9 million when the Astros lost to the Rangers 11-4 in MLB play last night.

He always hedges - Big Time. He breaks even and the giveaway is a tax write off.


EDIT: I wrote the above comment before reading the article. It sounds like this might just be a lost bet for Mack (hedging having probably occurred). I was thinking of his traditional mattress giveaway. He refunds the purchase price of beds and accessories for the months of an Astros' title run. He always hedges those bets to cover his ass.

Together again Doyle&Louise and now it's till the end of time may they both rest in peace.
As for Mattress Mack well all i can say is chin up bud i made the same mistake and bet on the Astros with one difference i only dropped $5.00.
