Only nine poker players remain out of the 10,043 entered in the 2023 wsop Main Event. One of the nine remaining players will be taking home the WSOP Main Event bracelet and a boatload of cash ($12,100,000.00 to be exact).

CardsChat contributor, Bob Pajich, gives us a brief summary of each of the final table players in the link below.

Until today, the Italian had 25k in prize money in tournaments and won a spot for the main event as a gift.
Poker is really amazing. 😀

I wonder if any behind the scenes deals are being done to split the prizepool. I know with the WPT, they would handle deal making and payouts.

With only 3 players left, maybe a good deal would be 6 million for each, 1 million extra for 2nd, and 3.6 million for 1st.

I don't like the idea of a split! We want to see the entire battle don't we.

They would still play it out, it just adjusts the payouts. Obviously if one of the players feels that they have an edge, they wouldn't make a deal.

Adam Walton's poker skills were put to the test at that final table last night. A pivotal moment arose when he made the daring move of shoving all his 80BBs with pocket 8's, only to be met by Daniel Weinman's pocket A's. Hindsight kicked in, and Walton now realizes it may have been a costly mistake. However, moments prior, he showcased his strategic prowess, playing pocket K's with a more cautious approach, reeling in a sizable catch after the river. The perplexing nature of his decisions leaves me wondering what was going through his mind during those crucial moments. What do you think, peeps?

Daniel Weinman got a little lucky when his pocket jacks collided with pocket queens and kings of opponent's. Three of a kind helped him triple the stack and reach the final table.
Sometimes his expression looks confused. But this is just a process of thinking. I like his game.
