Does anyone know when the schedule for wsop 2023 gets announced? I’m looking to play in the Seniors and Super Seniors events but am reluctant to book flights, hotels etc without confirmed dates.

Before Covid the WSOP schedule announcements started in mid January. Last year the WSOP schedule announcements started in February. Since the WSOP is now settled into their new home and the summer time slot, the schedule for 2023 should look almost the same as 2022 with a small number of events renamed/substituted. The Seniors and Super Seniors should continue to be on the schedule since they get a good turnout. Event #1 will most likely start on the last Tuesday in May and the rest of the schedule following just like 2022. As long as you have at least 90 days in advance there will have plenty of time to book your reservations and still take advantage of discounted rates for travel.

I think its a bit early for it to be announced , although its a big series , the most precious in the planet maybe , so mayvbe they announce it early . Many players have to shcedule all the games they are gouing to play , they need to know very early the details , but 7 months earlier ?? No ned to rush ......

If you need an intercontinental flight , 7 months is quite enough to get an affordable plain ticket

I do not play live , I do not know how much time you need to pre-schedule your games , international mainly , just saying , its still 7 months untill the event , pretty much a lot of time to go , isnt it ?? Its not 2 or 3 months , right ? So imo , noneed to ask so early

That's awesome, I am in the boat of hoping to go at some stage of my life but thinking it is unlikely at this point. Your post gives me hope though!
