I had a starting bankroll of 20$ and the best advice that I took from here was to play SnGs on small stakes. Now I have 50$ in my bankroll and I'm pretty optimistic

if i deposit $ 20 will it be better to play tournaments or cash games to raise the bankroll?

Thank you for posting. Personally I think sit n go's are the best way. There are a variety of small stakes sit n go's. Cash games can eat your bankroll quickly during a bad session. Play the lowest possible stakes available until you guide that bankroll up. Good luck.

Good Luck To All:cool:

I think the best choice is to play 9 table sit&go. Play tight in the beginning of the tournament then go more aggressive when are only 5 players. Avoid to pay shoves when you have a draw or small pairs and forget the hero calls. It could very fun when you win, but it's very unprofitable.

If you have about 20$, then I recommend playing freerolls and Spin
& Go for 1$ .1 $ because if you play at 0.25 there are many who go all in with bad cards and can lucky them.At 1$ it was very rare. You can still play tournaments for 0.55 cents. There it is very easy to raise a little bit.Good Luck.:):)

Cash games over tourneys > much less variance.

2nl 6max until you have $100 or $150, then try 5nl and go back to 2nl if you lose 3 or 4 buy ins
This will keep you in the game long enough to improve until you endup staying at 5nl

I would recommend playing freerolls, some hot 1.10 and 0.55 and also the 1.50 sit and go

$20 roll at cash games is a target..

Safest way to raise bankroll is tournaments and free-rolls. At the cash tables, if others see you only have a small bankroll, they will pounce, bully you with big bets.

But at a tourney, your entry(no rebuy tourneys) is the most you can lose, even if you are put on tilt. Free-rolls are time-consuming, low-payback, but if you play enough, you can get a small bankroll going
Avoid the cash games, because of the "credit card mentality." In cash games, you can have some bad luck, get determined to chase your losses, and use the credit card, which isn't healthy. As with anything, being cautious never hurts.
