Just a heads up. I wired $100 to someone in Costa Rica per pokerstars instructions on 3/5. As of today 3/14 the money still isn't in my account. I've contacted them 4 times. I get a reply stating they got my email but then no follow up. Guess I'm out $100. Fool me once.

You won't be out the money - for whatever reason it is just slow.

How much did you have to pay in fees on $100 for Western Union?

Pokerstars is super reliable. You should be ok, if they were the one that gave you the instructions.

I did a WU transfer this morning and I came back home and input the confirmation number and the funds were there on my account. Dont know why you are having issues....good luck!

The biggest clue is,, this is Op's first post which raises the probability that Op has left out the ever so important as Paul Harvey would have said, the rest of the story. Multiaccounting or other such shenanigans is a likely reason imo:rolleyes:

You are right. I should have followed up with the resolution.
It seems that the name of the person I was transferring to was spelled incorrectly.
Pokerstars says they told me this after my first inquirey. I kept all the emails and couldn't find anything in them that told me this. They also couldn't come up with a copy of the email. The bottom line is that they were ignoring my emails. Right up until I started posting on these forums. Then all of a sudden they took the time to look into it. Like in many business, good help is hard to find. Anyway, alls well that ends well.

I apologize then. I was wrong. Just get so used to people making similar claims and then it winds up being something improper that they had done and not the poker site. In this case, it was a mistake on Pokerstars part but I am glad to see you got it sorted out.:)
