Hi folks, been awhile since I've been here. I took a bit of a hiatus from poker but am getting back into it again. Just got burned out from living/breathing/reading about poker 24/7 it seemed, and decided to force myself to take a week or so off. "Or so" turned into something like 6 months. :)

Anyway, I've pre-registered for next month's OFC events at FT (as Veteran68), representing CC of course.

I've had a FT account for a long time but have only played a few freerolls there, and had never deposited. All of my money has been at Stars or Sportsbook. Since one of the OFC events is a $5 buy-in tourney with a $10 payback if you make a deposit within 30 days prior to playing in the tourney, I figured it was time to throw some money FT's way, not so much to build a bankroll there playing ring, but just to cover these types of events. But I remembered U.S. deposits being really hit-or-miss there several months ago. None of my credit/debit cards worked at the time, and at the time they were just experimenting with eCheck and it wasn't available to everyone.

Anyway, late last year I got a new Chase Freedom Signature visa, and tonight figured I'd give it a shot. It worked! I dropped $50 in the account so I'll be able to play around a bit and buy-in to the OFC tourney.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has or wants to get a Chase card, they seem to work. I found one other post from 2007 saying his Chase VISA worked then too, so maybe that's a good one to apply for if you like to play poker. Beats chasing down All Access prepaids IMO...

BTW the confirmation says the payment will show up on the credit card statement as orgonise-africa.biz
