Can you explain what the process is for Moneybookers these days (please)?
When I first began playing
online poker ('07) I looked at Moneybookers as a method to deposit, I followed their procedure at the time which included needing verification by supplying a cellphone number, sending & receiving text messages, etc. It was a lengthy process (some other stuff too, & at the time my cellphone was inactive (pay as you go phone) & first had to re-activate a phone I didn't use, & had to purchase a new charger for it too, lol. 9hrs. later with tons of running around, phonecalls back & forth (to the UK I believe....it's been awhile). Yah.... so 9hrs. later they tell me that they weren't accepting Cdns. at the time????
... warning.. next part here is boring so continue to last paragraph lol
{story of that day cont'd. with the discovery of epassporte, got an account set up & by 01:25 est (10:25pm where i live) I had $$'s on Fulltilt. I scrolled the lobby & saw a game registering for $1 (Ferguson) so I decided to play it, not even knowing at the time that it was a tournament, lol. Then discovered there were over 900 players in the thing, & at ~3:30am I was sitting HeadsUp, each w around 15bb's, got it in with the best of it & lost a 60/40.... figured > "oh well, that was fun. 2nd, but wouldn't been nice if I'd won some money" (actually thought the thing was a winner take all.... it'd been a long day of jerkin' around to get money onto a
poker site.... over 9hrs. from the moment I'd started out). Yah, was pleasantly surprised to see a small window pop up saying I'd won $114..... I think right then I was hooked (lol).
I'm looking to move a bit of money off of a couple of
poker sites & move it to another. I've heard recently that Moneybookers is a decent, easy-to-use service. Can you possibly explain how the current process there now works? and.... anything else you figure I might want/need to know about Moneybookers
tks
