I have just received a message from PS saying I can now transfer money from my bank account. But I understood that our UK government had banned that, and paying by credit card, years ago, Has anyone done this? And is it all as simple as it sounds? I ask that last bit because they make Pay Safe sound simple and it's not - you have to take out the full card to pay money into a poker stars account, which involves proving your identity etc.

I don't know how this way works here, my last purchases (a long time ago) were made by bank slips

I got the same message as I'm in the UK, as you said credit cards were banned as a payment option years ago but my debit card linked to my bank account is fine. Not sure if I'll go down the using my bank App route, might make depositing far too easy IMO.

I think bank transfer may be safer than using a debit card (which I refuse to do) but I am still wary of someone at the other end seeing my details.

Here is an extract from https://fastestwithdrawalcasino.co.uk/review/pokerstars/

Can I Withdraw Funds From PokerStars With a Credit Card?

UK players cannot withdraw funds with a debit card or make any deposits with one for that matter. This is due to the casino being licensed by the UK gambling Commission and the fact that this organization banned the use of credit cards for gambling in April 2020.

So if I can't make a deposit with a debit card I guess it's going to be very difficult, without opening a new account with neteller or PaySafe (which is complicated). I post this because other postsers in other countries have been saying it's difficult to withdraw. But Martin says he can use his credit card! Confused.

Typo in the article title is talking about credit card, info first says debit card. I also said I use debit card without issue not credit card.

Yeah, they are correct in the title but should have typed credit card rather than debit card in the description.
