So I signed up for pokerstars virtual visa debit card 2 weeks ago and I was able to load the card and deposit with it in less than 20 minutes. Everything was working good until this Friday when this guy from somewhere across the country, I don't know where because he didn't tell me. But anyways he said when he logged in to his paytrucard account it gave him all of MY information instead of his. Apparently he wasn't the only one that got my info, several others did also. So I contacted support for pokerstars and paytru after that. Today pokerstars called me and said that the made a mistake with my account, he said there was some kind of glitch in their data or something like that, and it caused them to show my personal info to hundreds of people when they logged into their accounts. They said that they appoligize and the problem has now been fixed and they will credit my account with $100. So basically hundreds of people got to see my credit card number, social security number, and pretty much everything else about me and I get $100 for it. I don't know if that is a fair trade, but anyways I just wanted to let you know that this deposit option may still be unreliable.

If i was you, I would try to make poker stars pay for 1-2 years of credit monitoring; I think one year is around $100

Definitely do this and they should be more than willing to comply. You also need to contact all 3 credit bureaus and have a fraud alert placed on your report.
