Surprisingly no money from FT still. I'm just hoping to receive it before Christmas at this point. Honestly, at this point, I'd be happy with that....

ttaggart, maybe you mentioned it earlier, but is this your first withdrawal from FT?

Just curious, since the first is always the slowest and generally most troublesome, due to the extra verification and scrutiny that is applied. Then the recent payment processor trouble they've had could have just magnified the delay. Plus, if they started your payout with one of their problem processors, it may still be hung up somewhere while they sort that out.

Whereas when I requested mine last Saturday, maybe they put it through a new processor or one that isn't having problems. They do use a laundry list of payment processors, plus I've been withdrawing now for years, so I'm established -- whether that had anything to do with it or not, I don't know. I just know that requesting on a Saturday, which isn't even a working day for most financial businesses, and having it hit the bank Tuesday morning, is pretty impressive service, and it's typical of what I've had from FT in the past.

For what its worth, I have also been waiting for payment for almost 4 weeks but was warned when I chose the option that they were experiencing delays before confirming. Received an email today saying it will be here within another week by another method.

first off, thanks for taking the time to reply. but to answer your question dmorris, no it is not my first withdrawal. i've made numerous withdrawals. in fact i looked back at my most recent withdrawal, it was approved on oct 28th and hit my bank account on oct 29th...

so maybe i was a bit spoiled from getting my money so quickly previously, but this is starting to get ridiculous (just about a month and still waiting). if it was $100 or so i wouldn't be as po'd. but i took a max w/d and could really use the money at the moment....

d'wilius, i've been hearing that same thing from ft for a while now and still nothing...

well looks like my dream of getting my money before christmas is now just that, a dream.....i got a new email from ft stating that due to third party processor issues, my transaction had to be canceled and resubmitted....

i can now expect my money in a week, or shortly thereafter (translation, early january)....for my inconvenience, i got $50 credited to my account.....i mean thanks i guess, but for me i'd rather have them debit my ft account $50 if i could have my money today...

My View and Experience

Have not had a problem at all with FT, but did take about 10 days...BoDog took maybe 3-4 days which has always been great. GL, Wally

I'm having a lot of trouble with Full Tilt as well (I'm in the US). I made a withdrawal from Stars a couple of months ago, got my ACH credit in my bank account in 3 days. I requested an ACH withdrawal from Full Tilt on October 25, and still don't have it. Here's the saga:

10/25: I request withdrawl from FTP.

11/1: I get an email saying my account has been "suspended" pending ID verification. They need a copy of my drivers license, bank statement and utility bill. Fine. Annoying as hell that they want this now, when they had no trouble taking money OUT of my account without any proof of who I was. I send them the documents imediately.

11/3: I get another email saying my fund request has been "declined". I send more email asking very politely basically "wtf?"

11/6: After much back and forth with the "cashier" support, where they claim to be "experiencing high volume" and they need to "research" the issue, the money mysteriously shows up back in my FTP account. I send more mail to support, and initiate another withdrawal.

11/8: Receive email that my withdrawal request has been "approved". Yay, progress?

11/16: Receive email saying that due to an "issue" with one of their "third party processors" the withdrawal cannot be processed at this time, and that I should try again. To FTP's credit, they actually deposit another $25 in my FTP account for the inconvenience here. I'm appeased for the moment and initiate another withdrawal.

11/18: Receive email saying my withdrawal request has been "approved" (again). Sounds good but I decide not to hold my breath.

12/3: No sign of any deposit in my bank account, and no further communication from FTP. I send mail to cashier again, no response as of yet.

I like the software and the games at FTP, but this is ridiculous. I don't think I can recommend playing there (possibly just in the US if that's the issue) until they get this stuff worked out. Crazy.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this better, or is this common?

Requested another EFT last night. Still getting the popup about possible delays, but hoping this one goes through in 2 days like the last one did.

I've always requested checks from FTP and never had a problem. The last one took longer than 15 days. On day 17 or 18 I emailed the cashier. They replied and apologized and stated the normal stuff about 3rd party problems. FTP gave me the option to wait for the check or cancel transaction. I decided to wait and the next day the check showed up. This morning FTP deposited $25 into my poker account and said thanks for playing! I emailed them to tell them I received my check and thanked them for working hard for their U.S. clients.

Depends on the type of withdrawal and whether they're having a hard time with their payment processors, which happens occasionally.

When everything works as it should, paper checks take about a week and EFT's take 2-3 business days. Those are the only withdrawal methods I've used.

Does Full tilt still mail you a check? Or have those days long passed?

Yes. Well, to precise, they have a check mailed to you from a payment processor -- it doesn't come from FT themselves. If they did then the bank couldn't legally accept it.

I have only withdrawed through my debit card which took 2 days. I have never cashed out a cheque. I have to add aswell though that I have always found FTP support to be very good. I can see why your pissed off though! I would be too. GL

And it did. In the bank this morning (Tuesday) after a Sunday evening withdrawal. EFTs rock!

Question for the guys who are electronically transfering funds into checking accounts successfully. Did you do that via the free option or the wire transfer one?

I requested a transfer in early January. Waited two weeks, got nothing. Previously the transfers had gone through in a few days, so I emailed FT. They instead switched me to wire transfer. I ended up getting 75% of the withdrawal amount due to fees. FT credited me with $50, but how do I get it out? Check is not an option offered now, and the free electronic transfer may or may not work. I will have to deposit another $50? And likely incur another big charge? When it comes down to it, I still can't withdraw completely at this time.

EFTs are the free Bank Transfer option, that's what most of us are talking about.

Bank Wires are expensive. If you're transferring a large amount at once, like $5k or more, then wires are usually preferred because they're fast, you can get a large amount at once, and relative to the large withdrawal the fee is tiny. But for small amounts IMO it's not cost effective.

Looks like you'll have to build your $50 refund back up to $100 and then try the EFT option again. It's been working fine for many of us -- apparently they just have a few troublesome processors and you got unlucky that time. I've done EFTs in both December and January and received the funds in 2 days, as is normal.

I have seen this in a few post talking about extra verification. I requested my first withdrawal ever on the 22nd and was approved the next day and they never asked for any verification (I really expected them to since I've never even deposited).I guess since I havent gotten the money yet its not too late for them to ask but who knows!

also how do you know if its a wire transfer or EFT? only had one option in which they asked for my account and routing numbers. Hope its not a wire transfer cause my bank has already rejected 2 from PS.

^^^ If it was approved then I doubt they'll ask for verification, but that's surprising. They did for my first one, and most people that I've heard it. It's always possible though that they can hold your payout pending verification, so don't count your chickens yet...

The bank wire option is clearly named, "Premium Bank Wire." The EFT option is simply "Bank Transfer."
