Hey folks,
I was wondering how you guys cash out your money from pokerstars? I tried asking for a check, but it didn't come. When I e-mailed them they said it may have gotten lost in the mail and were willing to refund the money to my account and void the check. Has anyone had experiences like this? If I try cashing out again, will the check likely arrive?
Or do you guys use other sites in general (such as neteller, etc)?
Thanks for your time,
Vanquish

If you're from the US, Neteller is NFG. ePaswsporte will work, or the PS sponsored payTru prepaid visa. I'e cashed out using both methods w/no problems.

Mine got lost in the mail but it was my own fault. I put the wrong address on it. I just ordered the PokerStars prepaid visa and I'm waiting for that in the mail. It's only available to a limited numbers of people right now but it sounds promising. If it's available to you that would probably be the way to go.

I've gotten a couple checks from Pokerstars and Absolute Poker. It's slow, but they arrived within the given time period (cant remember, like 7-10 business days) and were accepted by my bank. Not too many other options offered to me as a US customer.

My check arrived in a week, no problems at all.
Went and cashed it the very same day...again no problems at all...

What was written on the check freak?? I don't know, but some banks really have a policy against online gambling money don't they, or is that just the whole depositing deal?

Because I'm looking to cash out a bit of my BR in the near future and need to know how realiable the check thing is for my bank accounts.

Oh another thing, considering I never exactly deposited any money into PokerStars, would they still allow me to cash out, or am I going to have to deposit money into PokerStars somehow?

Can't remember the name....it did not say Pokerstars or anything on it, just the name of whatever holding company they use....written on a check....fortunate for me I use *******and I went right in, asked to verify funds....teller said "yeah they got funds" with a chuckle ( I assume there was A LOT of money in the account) and he cashed it right then and there......

Kinda off-topic since I live in canada, not the US; but I have cashed out from PokerStars a few times and never had a problem. I just requested a cash-out last Tuesday, April 17 and received the cheque a week later in CDN funds. I forget the name, but it was from a bank in Vancouver, BC.
