^^^ This is the second report I've seen about this. (The first was yesterday).

Fedex dropped the ball on my delivery -- didn't leave a door tag Friday and didn't bother to ring my doorbell yesterday, so it is supposed to be delivered today. Hopefully won't run into these issues if it's a gift card.......

Did they ask you if you would rather have a gift card or check when your withdraw was approved?

Nope, so I'm not actually sure what it is, will find out later today (unless Fedex screws up yet again).

Iv made quick and easy bank transfer withdrawals from Fulltilt, Stars, Titan and Party.

Carbon were the first room that requested verification from me (im in the uk) which was annoying.

So be warned if your non-us they still make you jump through hoops.

Are you referring to my situation or replying to someone else?

If it’s my situation, can you give me a link to the first such case?

Finally got it from Fedex -- it's a check. So, good news and bad news for me. So I requested 7/10, was approved 7/26, and should have received 7/29 (but received today because some Fedex drivers are completely incompetent).

Given what's going on in my situation, a check might be better.

I am in limbo now, unable to get an answer from either the card company or Carbon.

It USED to be hassle free with pokerstars and Fulltilt. The good old days.

Latest update. I tried again today at another bank (Chase) and was able to get the $ out. Somewhere along the way, I lost $10 in fees, but at this pt, I am happy just to get most of it. Question for you guys. How do you get the single dollars out? For example, if you had $367. How do you get the $7 out? The ATM refuses to give anything other than in round $10. (I think the failed withdrawal was what led to the fees getting slapped on)

Pretty much just have to purchase something and swipe it to use the last $7. Glad to hear you got your money out, was getting worried about that situation. I have heard you get charged a few dollars each time you check your balance, withdraw, etc. so the failed withdrawal(s) would have done it.

I had to withdraw in two increments due to maximum withdrawal limit. I took out the first increment at Chase, was charged $3 and according to the receipt I had $56 left. (So this was fair)

Then I went to Citibank. I tried to take out $56 but was told the machine could not handle the amount (likely due to the $6). So I went with $50. According to the receipt, I now only have 25 cents left on the card so I guess I must have been charged around $6 for that $50 withdrawal even though the interface said the charge was $3.

I apparently also lost $1 from yesterday.

But overall, still happy to get the money out. Better than getting nothing.

It has been 17 days now since I sent in for my withdraw on Carbon, and it is still pending. I sent them a email about 2-3 days ago and this is what I got back about 2 hours ago.

Dear Sam,
Thank you for contacting us.
We greatly appreciate your understanding.
We understand this is a hassle, and apologize for it. But I can assure you we are working on it to have them taken care of as soon as possible.
I know it seems like a long time; however it is our policy to remain honest with our customers at all times rather than give unrealistic timeframes. Our accounting team is also working with new processing partners who are turning around withdrawals faster every week.
Thank you once again for your continued patience and understanding during these changing times.
We certainly appreciate the fact you have chosen us to play poker with; and we continue to look for improvements on our daily operations and on the products and services we offer to you.
We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.

I really thought they would make a decision on my withdraw by the end of this week...not looking like it.

After 20 days my withdraw has been approved on Carbon. Hopefully I get a check instead of a giftcard just because I think check would be easier to deal with. I wonder how long it will take till I get it...time will tell.

Really? I think it'd be the other way around > take card to ATM, take out the moniezz 'gg'. Spend the remaining balance ( <$20) on something.
If I could arrange to get cards for payouts I'd do it all day long.

Would a Carbon poker gift card work at ATM?

If so, then yeah it would be just as easy.

A month ago it seemed to be approaching 2-3 weeks to receive a check. Now it seems like wait times are getting longer again, and on top of it, a bunch of checks in the most recent batches are bouncing.

Once my check got approved on Carbon it took 3 weeks for me to get the check, which I was pleased with because they said it would more than likely take 4-6 weeks.

I finally got an approval message. Now, must hope the check arrives, and if it does, that it clears.

Merge Withdrawal

I wish i could show you a card that was sent to me by Sportsbook of with is to be used for withdrawals only. I am pretty sure that Carbon uses the same system, you might want to ask about a debit card that they provide for withdrawal only.
