I'd like to see a verified dead body of this stupid man. Otherwise, I will assume he's on a beach somewhere trying to spend $190M.

Now I really don't understand.

Jennifer Robertson stated that Cotten was solely in control of storing user funds in cold storage wallets. In crypto, cold storage refers to a wallet that is not connected to the internet and stored offline.
How do you store something that is entirely digital offline? If it's backed up by hard cash or gold or some other tangible valuable, how is it any different from real money?

do you know how cryptos work? Private Keys= your crypto.

This was an exchange and it's supposed only the owner has the private key of the cold wallet, by the way there is no serious exchange where the private keys has only one owner. in conclusion is not recommended to store cryptos in exchanges. if you want to be safe you need to store cryptos in cold wallet like Exodus, Atomic Wallet or hardware like Trezor or Ledger Nano.

Don't worry Matt, "someone" is taking care of it:

I think anyone who lost money due to the untimely death of the genius who ran this company should receive a piece of his corpse as compensation. Failing that, they could get a vacation on his private tropical island.

I guess there's no "Forgot Password" button.

sorry but i'll say something true and unpopular. ok, it's true that some regulation could improve the services of exchange business, but the only truth is people that put their money there are the main responsible, no one obigates you to do it, the best thing that Bitcoin teach you is that gives you the responsability of your money without depending of third parties. mediocre people always try to find guities on another people to justify their own mistakes ( that is one big reason why politic exists)
