Can someone please tell me what are the benefits to playing online poker vs playing at your local casino?

I sure wish I knew. Its a real shame. I can literally walk a block away and buy 100% legal recreational marijuana but cant play for money on full tilt..... go figure. I wish it wasnt that way but its whatever. Maybe one day. And hopefully when they do that they will decide to allow sports betting in places other then Nevada and Jersey

IDK that brick and mortar lobby against it in general. Online rooms drove a great surge in poker interest and people flooded live tournaments and poker rooms. After the crack down the rooms and tournaments slowed considerably. Holy Rollers in D.C. and those who couldn't figure out how to tax it are who are holding it back.
