Why Can't I Always See the Losing Hand?

Sometimes I'll open up hand history to see what they had, but there are occasions when the hand is not available to see. Why is this?

The player probably chose to muck the losing hand.

at Stars it's quite simple.
You'll never be able to see a folded hand unless the player who folds decides for whatever reason to show the hand himself.
Mucked hands will always be visible when using the hand history option.

some huds will show mucked cards, if you called it

I think that any hand that is called should be shown when that request comes from another player. If the player whose hand is called mucks his hand without showing it, any person at the table should be able to request that hand be shown. After all, it was called, no???

Because many of the players in the settings to hide your hands.
