I'm not paranoid. I know for sure that my account has been blacklisted on pokerstars since some point in time (about a year ago). This is not variance, this is not bad luck, this is something else. This just does not happen. I just get sent ****. I have no choice but to quit poker. Although I have always played a plus. Here is my story.

Guys, that's why I don't play for my own money. I only play freerolls. Let it be a little money, but I am always in profit.

Can't risk what you don't put in and putting in nothing to buy-ins eliminates all risk of losing money! :D

Similarly, I've been building a poker bankroll (which I potentially could lose) from cardschat freerolls. This way, I'll never really "lose" money "life money" with poker. I have the potential to make real money and make a decent profit, but if worst comes to worst and I lose the entire bankroll...then at least it was all "poker money" and I didn't really "lose" ;)

I had been doing great for a couple years on stars as well and then 2009 hit. My Mid October of that year I was looking at my 1st down year. If not for one deep run it would have been ugly. I just could not understand why it was happening. I ended up watching a training video and was calling out what I needed to do. Then when reviewing my play for the 1st time truly ever, I saw what was happening. I had changed my game. I t was not poker stars but my play. a few weeks later I was at the at my 1st final table in months. While it was not a winning year for me it was the beginning of putting my game back into winning shape. Instead of blaming the site really evaluate your game. You just might be surprised at what you find.

I feel you. Sometimes i feel the same way. My advice: don't play the money you can't afford to lose and you will be ok.

It may not be actually luck, but the way you are playing your hands. To be successful long term you need to learn how to make the most out of your winning hands and lose the least on your losing hands. Control your bets, control the pot size, and don't overplay your hand.

Imagine if everyone getting rich from poker, where would be profit for sites and casinos?

The true reality is that we are playing against each other and some of us will be profiting, some of us will be doing ups and downs, and some of us will be losing.
Sites like CC are for give you a chance to learn and grow. And give you field like freerolls to experiment yourself and your game, and just enjoy being in a community with people who share the same interest and have fun.

I think if you can see you are most likely not a profitable player in poker fields, push yourself into some exclusive freerolls and play it for fun only - which is the healing factor if we are doing for money too.

GL in whatever field is waiting for you. :)

I know what u feel like but trust me, it isn't only luck or PokerStars fault, you need to improve your game and you don't know how other winning players are grinding to be in profit. Poker is about patience, if you really played well then there is no way that you could be losing that much. Bad beats, losing thats part of poker.

Yes ... I also sometimes have the impression that other players are lucky more often than me.
They win with 22 when I have AK cards. And I lose with QQ cards or something.

You are more then a pokerist

Hello, sorry to read about your story. You'll definitely find somewhere else where you can play poker at. Use somebody's account if ever. And believe me Pokerstars is just an online betting site, there are hundreds of them, if ever, you still can play live poker, where you can improve your poker skills at a better rate.

So you have been poker blacklisted??

Let's just say for argument sake you are rright. What would the site have to gain from that? I mean the site gets paid wether you lose or win from rake or buyin fees. So what would one have to do to be blacklisted yet not banned?
