At live tables in cash games we are allowed to show one card before opponents make a final decision at most of the casinos. Why isn’t it allowed at the tournaments? And would you want to see a feature like this at the online tables?

Hi :)
I certainly don't mind seeing my opponents cards. For me, such information is sometimes useful. But I never show my cards.

Really allowed? In the poker rooms I've played, its a muck hand & u get a warning from dealer for acting out of position. I wouldn't like to see such a feature bordering collusion.

To me it sounds like it would be violating the rule about discussing the hand while it is in play. And that is why it wouldn't be allowed.

I rarely show my cards after the hand is over. For sure I don't want to show my cards, even only one, before the last move of the opponent

I've to deal with that behavior many times while playing with friends. After the flop or turn, someone showed one card: an ace, or a card that matched a flush. This can definitely put pressure on your opponents and make them fold. I'd love to use that option if it will be possible. Moreover I often chat to players or use emoticons ;) Also i often say what hand i got befor flop.
Ps.
for examlple: today i got hand 3 4. Flop 3 4 7 - i got two pairs. My opponent got QQ on hand. Afer flop my chance to win was better. If I show him my 2 pairs maybe he would fold and ... I would avoid loosing that game. Turn - 7 - so He also got 2 pairs :( riva was 10. So my (33) 44 after flop lost with his QQ 77 after turm and riva because finally I got 44 77.

Maybe I will change my mind because it is very important information what hand the player in, rise, play all in etc. I try to take notes about opponent's hand (during all in and rising bet and entering the game depanding on the position)
I also often check only to see opponent's hand. So it is possible that in the future i will show my cards only if You "pay" for checking me xD

If you win a big hand by bluffing, you can show your cards, and then your opponent will play more aggressively, thereby losing control of the game.

It depends on the type of game. But a word of advice, if you're playing in a tournament, never show what hand you had. Never. Even if you had AA.

Because in tournaments the game is long. If you show the cards, even after a bluff, give statistics to the opponent.
For example, I can enter all in after someone has won or had AA, even KK, QQ. I'm counting on the hand that the next hand will have nothing, apart from a 1% chance of having the same hand.
But, the best chance to see it in practice, go play at least 3 SPIN&GO games. You understand the strategy better.

I think it is better not to introduce this option, poker is complicated, so it would become even more complicated. Someone will like to have this option, which is just fine, but I don't think the essence of poker would change. It is better to keep it as it is, because in this way we can improve intuition, that is, hand readings.

If you go all in preflop you shouldn’t be teaching anyone anything. No offence brother. But all in preflop is a fish move in my opinion

A fish move or a player who wants to get out of the match for some reason, i.e. not playing seriously, not an important tourney, gambling etc.

I like when players show their cards. I do not show mine but very sometimes, you know, sometimes is good to show. :)

Well it can be done at a certain table or tournament, I don't think it's good to implement it in all tournaments.

I think this idea is very bad I think it will be obvious who will win the hand and gives a lot of information about the player I think they won't do it in online poker

Well I think that seeing one card of my opponent would not help me. I don't mind.

There are some many variables that you need to consider each hand. Chip stacks, player aggression, position, preflop and post flop action…

Now let’s say you get to the river with A 10 on a rainbow board with
AJ7
6
2
Preflop you raise and I call all others fold.
Turn you bet and I call
River you bet and I (here’s where you might do something different based on chip stacks and player image etc…) shove. (I’ve got you covered - only top 2 get paid and Next out is 9th). What would you do? Would you do anything different if I showed you a 7?

In the end it’s just one more thing to think about…did I call preflop raise with 77, A7? Maybe 78?
