Freeroll #2 Winner
Silver Level
Hi all,
With more and more poker rooms opening up almost on a daily basis I really need to know where we stand on the networks, eg: I got an email from a poker room called "aloha poker" so I had a look and it's the same as americacardroom software, part of the same network. Also one of the biggest networks at the moment is primapoker with about 11 poker rooms I think, their list seems to get bigger every time I visit them.
What I want to know is can we officially create an account with each poker room within the network? I don't think so. I've created a second account within a network but when I tried to use my username it said it was already taken, so I used another username and the account was created, ok seems fine, but then I realise they are all the same tournaments so in reality you could enter the same tournament more than once, but isn't that cheating?
Also with so many how do you know if you have created several accounts with the same network and could this be used not to pay you if you was to cashout a large amount of money?
Until I know for sure how this works I only have one account with each network but I feel it could be a problem in the future.
I had the same problem with casinos, I accidentally created more than one account at a casino as it had a completely different look and name but it was part of the same group, they waited until I tried to make a cashout before they locked my account as a cheater.
Anyone have any views on this or know the "rules and regs" regarding the networks?
Thanks in advance for any replies
