Is Playing Poker Online for a Living Possible?

Google up BlackRain79 and you'll see him claiming that he lives off of online poker. Personally I think the reality is that to be successful with online poker, you have to also set up a personal brand with your merch, streams, and memberships/donations. Then you can play online poker for a living. Grinding away on its own though is not the way to go. Especially not with the current climate in online poker.

I think that if you constantly win good money in tournaments or cash games in online poker, then you can earn a good profit online from poker!

ofc its possible if your good and lucky enough , just watch one of tonakaaaap's streams and see how much he won last month only , over 100k $ and his not the only one making out of it most top streamers on twitch are making a living from it.
So if you have the skillz and are rolled for it your all set up

I do not live of the game, but I can complement my income with good results. I think I will someday live with poker as a profession, but the way to go is still long!​

absolutely people live off of poker. i think the people that do that though also spend alot of time in casino's. i dont know if you can solely live off of online poker inless you do what puzzlefish said and have merchandise and advertising for yourself. i think you need to play online poker and maybe be good enough to give some people a few lessons or something. im giving it a shot right now though and its definitely not the easiest thing in the world. its for sure a good way to compliment your income though.

I think its possible,i dont live with poker but i have friend who live from poker,he is good poker player and he can survive with playing poker online!!!!

With a lot of practise , and patience it is legit but not of every1 , u need a special talent for it like you must keep your mind , if you lose your head u can lose a lot of money in a short period of time , so keep calm always bad luck can happens.

Yes, its possible but it would be like work. you need to play 6~8 hours a day doing at least 8~12 tables small stakes or 4 table mid stakes.

Its not fun anymore but you can earn a living from poker.
