During my online poker experiences, I have gained insight into the real goal of poker sites, which is to make you enjoy the game. On the other hand, the player's objective is to earn money or raise some money that he needs.
Both objectives do not go together, as much as it seems like you can win the game, you will end up losing and will never win or change your level, but on the other hand there are some people who can win at poker, they are the players sponsored by the banks, often they win online tournament tickets to play on that site. On the other hand, amateurs pay to play, spend their money, at a certain point it seems that their skills are useful for something, but no, they will lose one way or another.
This is how the world of online poker turns.
It may be that in the future when governments invest in this system, there will be some seriousness, as governments invest in lotteries, they should invest in online poker by having their own rooms, if this happens, governments will be able to raise funds as taxes.
The big problem is the paradigm of the bad reputation that poker has, which could be broken in the future.
I am in favor of governments exploring casinos and poker sites, and betting, on their own platforms, if this happens, you can be sure of something, government things are monitored and scams are punished.

I believe that if the Governments took over the running of Poker sites, You would never Win, They are the biggest scammers going, robbing the poor to make the rich Richer! Just have to look back at how they screw the Working classes every chance they get.
If I needed money, then gambling is the last choice I would make, I would rather get a second or even a third job and earn the money I needed and yes I have done that in the past Working 37 hours a week, in my day job and another as a Part time steward doing 44 hours a week, running a social club.
Hard work certainly but It is the best feeling in the world not having to ask how much something is and walking into a store and saying I will have this or that, knowing I could afford it.
Gambling is Fun, and if you can afford to lose money you don't need, then do it, but don't try digging yourself out of a hole by Gambling, it only makes the hole Deeper! I enjoy Gambling, whether it is a day at the Races or a night in a Casino, but my only intention is to relax and have some fun, If I lose, So What! I never needed the money otherwise I wouldn't be there, and If I walk away winning it's a bonus!

We have a national lottery run by government owned enterprise. There are also other games included and one of them is poker. At least in here the poker part of it is a joke. The game selection is very narrow, and the buy-ins/prizes can't compete with global brands. The result: no-one really plays in their games and most us take our business to global brands.

I get more emotion when I play offline poker at a poker table sitting in a real poker chair. Online poker is more like a conveyor belt, so emotions are dulled and the only thing in my mind is to make as much money as possible.

you are totally wrong friend, many players make money and are not sponsored, I myself am profitable I play cheap tournaments and freerolls, poker sites don't make money from you and it's a game of people against people unlike a casino, poker for you To make a profit you have to be good and skillful, that's all

That's not true. Maybe it's just not for you, or maybe it's not your dream, maybe you haven't given the sweat and blood that "poker" needs to reward you. The Poker Gods can bend you to your knees, and if you are able, get up.

Poker sites with their rakes are the only guaranteed winners in any of those games.
New customers joining in online poker are the life blood to this industry, and they are the ones who usually end up losing money in the long run, if they don't educate themselves in this "sport".

New customers coming in keep the old customers happy, because it's only for so long that regs are willing to play against regs. We might gain, and sites definitely gain, but someone always pays.

I prefer online poker because I can open several tables at the same time, in addition to being in the comfort of my home, I haven't played live poker yet.
