My biggest win was on poker stars many years ago. Won 8,643.00 dollars in there million dollar weekend game. Played 19 hours and will probably never bet it.

Ive won hundreds of dollars numerous times just playing in tournaments for a few dollars @partypoker, but i wasted the opportunity to run it up.
This was years ago and I had a Partypoker mastercard so it was easy for me to spend it.
I continue to waste opportunities, because once i win like $50 in a freeroll i eventually tilt it off at the blackjack tables trying to get a decent roll to play in tournaments with.
For someone who was told I have alot of patience, i dont see this as the case and i need more of it. Its embarrassing because i would rather follow some flawed bankroll management logic that i have and blow it at the casino than play poker with it because its not enough to play in $2 -$10 tournaments steadily.
Im not going to do this anymore, if i win in a freeroll im going to play tournaments with it and throw that bankroll management logic that i have out the window.
What do you guys think ?

It happens. I started with $100 maybe deposited another $75 because I started playing
cash
games under rolled. Then I started doing small buy-in gtd tournaments and picked up
$600.
but with my inexperience I went back to cash tables 25nl and played way too loose and
over confident I found myself playing cards OOP way too many times and next thing I
know i'm just dropping buy ins like crazy. Patience if definitely needed and discipline.
I am back down to 370 and for now will stick to 2.50-5.50 buy-in tourneys and study as much as possible.
It takes time but eventually with hard work and dedication you can start being mindful of
what you can afford to play and also have a plan to stop when you drop down too much.
im still learning myself and obviously not the best person to get advice from but if I can help I will.
